Short Fiction
5000 words and under – flat rate $75. Includes mark up and feedback as necessary. Completed work will not be returned to the client until payment in full has been received upon completion.
Average two weeks response time.
Long Fiction
5,000+ words: Completed work will not be returned to the client until payment in full has been received. 50% deposit upon accepted submission and 50% due upon completion.
1.5 cents per word.
Average one month response time.
The Process
Please query with 1 page summary and the first 5 pages (single spaced) to see if we’re a good fit. Then an editorial agreement will need to be signed and returned along with a deposit. (See below.)
All submissions and manuscripts are absolutely confidential. Occasionally I may ask permission to publicly share a passage as a teaching tool or just because it touched my heart.
I will return your manuscript with changes tracked, including notes within the text, plus a comprehensive written feedback. We can discuss afterwards either on the phone or via email/chat, your preference.
